GENERIK (G): you there my home boy?
BAGRAIDERS (JG): yeah dog
G: hows it going? i’ve got some photos for you!
JG: i’m good g
JG: what are they from?
G: here’s a little collection of photos for you and chris from stereosonic
JG: oh rad
G:you weren’t there the whole time, but you were in spirit
JG: thats right butchris was texting me in between each song – “what should i play next??”
G: hahah, you’re like narr not riverside.
JG: hahaha
G: play some toto or abba
JG: you know it
G: so how is the album coming along?
JG: good good, its all written just waiting to get some vocals back
G: who will be doing vocals for you? guys? girls? she males?
JG: i think mostly guys, maybe one girl
G: is this because you guys are form sydney?
JG: haha, thats right!
G: incase you haven’t figured it out yet, i’m surprise interviewing you via the ichat medium. You’re doing very well.
JG: haha, nice one!
G: now moving along. where do you get inspiration? do you write your music to your girlfriend? or more to your
mother?
JG: bit of both i think. The slow jams are for the girl (obviously) but my mum is way more into the club bangers
G: have you considered using your mother on a track ? she taught you the piano and how to use a roland 303
JG: yeah we did think about it, we even tried her out on a few but something wasn’t right.
JG: we did get chris’s dad to rap on a track for us. we’re kinda going for a cool kids/ bloody beetroots vibe…………… i think it’s gonna be big
G: you’ve done a cover / remix of bangs (aka the dude that has over a billion views on youtube) is he going to be rapping along side chris’s dad?
JG: no we tried to get him but his management said no. He is too busy in the studio with timbaland.
JG: chris’s dad is doing “let me take you to the bingo” – it’s way better
G: speaking of timbaland and bingo, have you guys come up with a witty title for your album? if not, have you thought about running a contest through twitter?
JG: no and no, but that’s not a bad idea at all hang on what about bingoland?
G: i think that dog “bingo was his name-o” might come after you guys for $$$$
JG: we can always fall back on self-titled if we’re too lazy/unimaginative to come up with anything
totally.
G: jack glass, if you could steal one song in the history in music and claim it as your own. what would it be?
hmm tough one
JG: maybe naive melody? or braxe intro? oh wait actually!!! scrap them!!!!
JG: happy birthday
G: mad royalties on that one, yeah boii!
JG: everyday will be my birthday
G: jack glass, thanks for your time and your pearls of wisdom. enjoy your day and please rave safe.
JG: same to you t-bone

Great interview. Bag Raiders, you guys are gods. I wasnt really hooked on electro until I heard your fun punch remix on a russ chimes mixtape in 07 and i’ve been a certifiable electro junkie ever since. I put up with twitter for you guys and I don’t think i’ve ever done a set without playing a bag raiders track. Anyway I can’t wait to hear the LP! Were definitely throwing our own release party here in Nashville
